🎵 CMS Playlists

This guide is meant to be a general breakdown of the features within our CMS playlists page and how to use them. To get to the playlist page, press Music on the left of CMS and then 'Playlists'.

Creating New Playlists

Note: Creating a new playlist requires approval from the founder or community manager.

To create a new playlist press the 'Add new Playlist' button in the top left of the Playlists page:

Then a popup window will appear, go through all of the fields with the following information:

Playlist Name: What the playlist will be called. Description: Explain what the playlist is about such as what the genre or theme means. Sort Order: Number order of where the playlist will be displayed in the playlist page. Special: Select if it's a special playlist. Visible: Select whether the playlist should be publicly displayed on the website. You may want to set it to no whilst you add videos to the playlist and then make it public later. Exclude from new playlist: Select whether you would like any songs in that playlist to not be included in the new videos playlist. This is done for niche non-popular playlists such as the Folk and Japanese playlists.

Editing Playlists

To edit a playlist press the edit pencil button to the right of a playlist to change any of the details mentioned in the previous guidance on creating playlists. Once you've finished making any changes press the 'Edit playlist' button to save your changes:
